OUR REVIEWS

Everyone gets an opinion. Believe them. Even the bad ones.

Sometimes, we have to say no for good reasons. We’re cool with that.

REVIEWS ARE OUR LIFEBLOOD

We can tell you all day about how rad we are, but it matters not. What matters is what the community who uses our services and works with us thinks.

We care what you think.

We’re not perfect, but if we’re going to aim for the stars, what you think about us, matters.

Did you learn something from us that was useful to you and your bird? Cool. Leave a review.

Did you have your bird groomed by us? Did we do a good job? Sweet. Leave a review.

Did you volunteer and learn and hang and have fun and feed a part of your soul while you were seeing to the needs of the birds? It’s because you’re a rockstar. Leave a review.

Did you surrender a bird with us, and we treated you with kindness and dignity? Of course we did. Leave a review.

Did you adopt here and find the actual love of your whole life? Did we match you like we said we would? Did you come here and find the process refreshing, thorough and useful to your journey ahead? It’s because we told you we would. Leave a review.

DID WE HAVE TO TURN YOU DOWN FOR ADOPTION?

Sometimes that happens. We have policies in place because these animals are entrusted to us to get to the next phase of their life safely and with their best chances.

We want to put these birds into qualified, incredible homes. Just because we said no today doesn’t necessarily mean forever. It means “not today”. Usually we’ll give you the information you need to be able to reapply after any issues are addressed. With dignity. With respect.

And if we were mean to you…

You’re going to want to be real honest about that too. Did we match your energy? This isn’t the place to come mistreat our team of unpaid volunteers. We are for sure not the ones for all that. And it’s all in writing, so… ❤️

Before you leave your review, here’s what we ask you to think about:

  • Did we say “NO” or did we say “Here’s what you’d need to do to qualify…”

  • Were we mean to you? Disrespectful or make you feel less than?

  • Did we try to explain kindly and with dignity and respect what we need for these birds?
